How much alfalfa should I be feeding my rabbit?
I don't know exactly how old my Lionhead rabbit is, but the guy we got her from said she was a year old. But I don't know how accurate is actually is. But I have been feeding her a handful of alfalfa everyday, but she is NOT on a pellet diet. I've been reading that you shouldn't feed a rabbit too much alfalfa because the pellets already give them enough protein. But my rabbit's diet is composed of afalfa, some apple, some corn, some variety treat from the pet store, grass, and leaves. How much alfalfa should I be feeding my rabbit?

A full grown rabbit does not need alfalfa. Timothy hay along with safe veggies is a good alternative to a pellet diet. Corn is not good for rabbits. It is difficult for them to digest and is too high in carbs and can make them fat, which in turn will cause all sorts of other health problems. Apples are too sugary to be used every day. The treats from the pet stores are dangerous. The pet store treats are made by companies that have no clue how to take care of rabbits.
I understand that you don't want to use a pellet diet, but your bunny needs a proper diet to live a long and happy life. I would suggest a 16th of a cup of pellets per day along with one and a half cup of rabbit safe veggies. You will also want to give your rabbit as much timothy hay as it wants to eat. You don't have to use the pellets if you don't want to but if you are not using pellets you need to make sure that you are giving a variety of greens with all the required nutrients.

There is much controversy over the pelleted diet. There are many top quality pellets these days that provide all the nutrients a rabbit needs to thrive. Most exotic vets will recommend a diet that consists of very few pellets per day. Most breeders will recommend a diet consisting of mainly pellets. The big thing that both will recommend is that having timothy hay on a regular basis will give the rabbit the fiber he needs to keep his gut moving.
It would be impossible to tell the age of your bunny from the photo. It looks to be fully grown. It sure is cute though.
