Bowel Support
How can I tell my husband that I dont want him as my birthing partner?
Im 31 weeks pregnant and very nervous about the labour. Pain isn't an issue just the lack of dignity during the process. Ive read loads and believe many women lose control of bowel and bladder. I don't want my husband present for any of that. He is really put out by this and thinks that he should be there to support me. I'd rather go it alone. Any advice welcome .
That would be a HUGE slap in the face to the husband. Him being there will just make you closer with him. Sharing intimate experiences like birthing (yes, even the bowel part) is what binds and strengthens relationships.
